What is CBD?

Hemp and marijuana are both Cannabis plants, but hemp has less than 0.3% of THC, the psychoactive chemical that gets folks high. Marijuana has between 5-35% of THC.

“Industrial Hemp” is part of the cannabis plant and is considered legal when the delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration is 0.3% or less on a dry weight basis, according to the Farm Bill.

What is CBD and is it legal?

CBD stands for Cannabidiol and is found in the cannabis plant. Unlike THC, the component of cannabis that gets you high, CBD does not. CBD is legal in all 50 states. The circumstances within which CBD can be considered legal or illegal depends on some factors, all dependent on the laws applicable in the state. People use CBD in different ways and for different reasons, including to reduce pain and inflammation and for anxiety and insomnia.

Services included medication management, psychotherapy, art therapy, massages, acupuncture, facials, wellness coaching and now we’ve added CBD treatments, and medicinal cannabis is coming soon.
